The silver jewelry worn with the
costumes was developed in 1935 by Goldsmith Jørgen A.Berner.
He worked closely with a museum throughout the process of reproducing
the original Rogaland County silver designs. The work began with
jewelry from the 18th. and 19th. century which was then modernised.
The silver jewelry has the same design today that it had in 1935
when Berner established his workshop. The jewelry is of a classical
design where everything is handmade with the obvious exception
of the base of the big silver brooch which is cast.
The jewelry can be delivered in two different finishes - "polished"
or "matt."
